Browser Requirements

This product requires the use of an Internet HTML file browser.

NX 6 Browser Requirements

You can view the CAST Library courses using a Web browser. The Web browser must support Java (MS JVM or Sun JVM version 1.6 or higher) for the search to work.

We certify and support the following browsers.

  • Windows: Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
  • UNIX, Linux: Firefox 1.5 or 2.0

NX 5 Browser Requirements

The browser must support Java (MS JVM or Sun JVM version 1.5 or higher) for the search function to work.

  • Windows: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0
  • UNIX, Linux: Mozilla 1.6 or higher

NX 4 Browser Requirements

The browser must support Java (MS JVM or Sun JVM version 1.5 or higher) for the search function to work.

  • Windows: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0
  • UNIX, Linux: Mozilla 1.6 or higher

    • Internet Explorer is the preferred browser for CAST. It is also required for using CAST within the resource bar in NX.
